Discipleship Ministry

Discipleship Ministry

The Discipleship’s Team mission is to fulfill the mandate of “making disciples”, provide an opportunity for members and attendees to be discipled into Christ-like maturity while connecting, growing, and serving together. To accomplish this, we train and equip members in Bible Studies, Small Groups, and Shepherding Ministries.

  • Our Bible Studies are to reflect three key components: Teach the Word of God, Care for physical and spiritual needs, and Reach people with the Gospel.

  • Enlist and equip Bible Study Teachers and Class Leadership teams.

  • Enlist and equip members to serve as shepherds for new Christians and new members.

  • Enlist and equip Short- term Bible study facilitators and teachers.

  • Enlist and equip Home Group Leaders and Host Homes

  • Ensure that every member of our church family is able to connect to a Discipleship ministry

Discipleship Team - Restart Statement

On-Campus Bible study classes

Guidelines for Classes to restart

  • Classes, in 100 to 600 rooms need to be 15 people or less in the class

  • Class in Fellowship Hall - 3 to 4 people per table

  • Follow the Churches general reminders

    • Practice social distancing

    • If you are sick or feeling under the weather, please stay home.

    • Please practice good personal hygiene

  • Both Bible Study hours need to match Worship times, 9:00, and 10:05 AM.  Bible Studies need to be 60 minutes in length so that we will dismiss after Worship services.

  • We will have a team of volunteers who will sanitize classrooms between Bible studies under the direction of our Facilities Manager, Joey Shults.  (note we may need volunteers to assist in sanitizing Bible Study rooms between the meeting times)

  • Fellowship - encourage class members to fellowship in the classroom or outside the building, not in the hallways.
